Nice place, Travel agent will ask you to start at 3.30 from hotel, for sure you will miss the morning buffet at hotel, Cab will run for 47 km and stop at check post where u can use washrooms, have some tea (powder milk tea, not good). wait there till 6 am, when the 1st convoy starts. then it all Jarwa forest fro next 47 km, approx 2 hours in cab, road is pathetic. You will reach a jetty where all the cabs are parked and cross the riverbank usig govt ferry ticket is 13 rupees. 2-3 ferries run in rounds in 10 min you will reach bartang Island. At the other end fiber boats are booked, 10 persons per boat, 900 per person charges. Drop you in midst of mangroves. From there you will walk for 2 km to reach limestone caves. This is a very narrow 60 meter caves where approx 100 ppl are present in peak season, you will not want to spend more than 10 minutes there and will want to come out asap. you can have lime water for 30 rupees near caves which is refreshing.
