Swimming at the beach is both enjoyable and safe, as there are lesser spottings of crocodiles in the area, and the forest department keeps keen surveillance of the whole village to make sure everyone remains safe. The waves are medium and there are no rocks or corals at the beach, making it a great place to swim. Adults who know swimming can go.
The beach provides a wide view of the open sea and is one of the most celebrated spots in Havelock to watch the sunset. The open horizon adored by clear blue water and unmatched greenery provides a scene to wonder about. The sunset usually happens at 5:30 on the island, which gives you enough time to relax and leave the beach area before it closes.
The right and left side of the beach is perfect for a walk in the evening. Surrounded by dense rainforest trees on one side and the open sea on the other, you can give in to the feeling of amazement without any disturbance. Located on the right side of the beach is the Neil’s Cove lagoon which can be reached by trekking for 1.3 KMs.
